kind is exactly "cut".
start and end are finite seconds in the original source media.
start is inclusive and end is exclusive.
start must be smaller than end.
The interval must be within the known source duration.
Two cut intervals may not overlap; adjacent intervals should be merged.
reason is required and must identify the editorial basis without claiming facts absent from the timeline.

The executor removes every cut interval. The editor therefore derives cut intervals from the selected material rather than listing selected intervals as cuts.
